He is survived by: his wife Carole McCune; his children, Ronald McCune (Diane) of Goose Creek, SC, Debra Swanson of Marshfield, WI and Brenda McCune of Live Oak, TX; and his stepson Michael Strunz of Johnson City, TN. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, one great grandson, and four sisters.
