He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Anderson and Edith Ring Anderson; and his siblings, Arlene Blevins and Bobby Anderson. He is survived by: his sisters, Brenda Larrowe (Wake) of Woodlawn, VA., Patty Anderson, Becky Jones and Anita Williams (Larry); his daughter Sandy Pope of Johnson City, TN.; his stepdaughter Metta Majors of Iowa; his son Billy Anderson of Johnson City, TN.; his grandchildren, Ronald Allen Pope "Junior" of Johnson City, TN., Brittney Pope of Johnson City, TN., Tiffany Pope of Johnson City, TN. and Kaya Greenlee of Kingsport, TN; his stepgrandchildren, Kadence Hernandez Kaelon Hernandez of Kingsport, TN and Courtney Major Tigges of Iowa; and his close friend Taneshia Greenlee of Kingsport, TN.. He is also survived by children who enhanced his life, his children, sisters, nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (44 Dan Walters Dr, Independence, VA 24348). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel (44 Dan Walters Dr, Independence, VA 24348).
