He is survived by: his wife Patsy Wilson McCurry; his children, Tommy Vanover of Flint, MI and Tammy Vanover of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Johnathan Vanover and Elizabeth Vanover; and his sister Geraldine Vanover of Flint, MI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
