She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathias Richards and Margaret Richards; and her brother Robert Richards (Dwight Sherman). She is survived by: her husband Paul Dwight Sherman, Jr.; her daughters, Laura Adkins (Deron) and Karen Cox (Mark); and her grandchildren, Sarah (Steven) and Andrew Cox (Erica). She is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abundant Christian Living Community Chapel (2012 Sherwood Dr, Johnson City, TN 37601). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
