She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Baxter Lowe and Sarah Ellen "Sally" Pierce Lowe; her husband Wilbourne Joe Norman Carr; and her siblings, Herman, Norman, Fleenor, George, Marie Jones, Amanda "Gert" Maupin, Carl and Letha.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell (Vicky), Wayne Carr (Ellen) and Letha Carr; her grandchildren, Megan, Hunter (Sara) and Matthew Carr; her great grandchild Liam Griffin; her siblings-in-law, Floyd Carr, Brenda Carr and Ann Lowe; her sibling's children, Johnny Lowe, Keith Toth, Karen Bowman and Elizabeth Perry; and her close friends, Nancy Verran, Susie Ellis, Robin Culler, Audrey Treadway, Helen Mathes, Ruth Davis and Leesha Whitstine.
A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sinking Creek Baptist Church (2313 Elizabethton Hwy, Johnson City, TN 37601). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Carr Family Cemetery (8 Downing Ct, Johnson City, TN 37604).
