He is survived by: his wife Betty Ruth Stevens; his children, Norman Stevens Jr., Alan Stevens (Scott), Montie Stevens, Michael Stevens (Kelly) and Christina Branch (Larry); his grandchildren, Tiffany, Wesley, Dylan, Ashley, Timothy, Grace, Ethan, Lennox, Arianna and Quinton; his great grandchildren, Skylar, Wyatt, Lilliana and Gunnar; and his siblings, Rondal, Danny, Rachael and Debroah.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Home (800 E Watauga Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (215 Heroes Drive Mountain, Home, TN 37684).
