He was predeceased by: his parents, Lelia Robinson and Robert Robinson; his siblings, Clinton, Carriel, Willis, Roland, William, Earnest, Olivia Williams and Earlee Eaton; and his daughters, Dawn Smith Bangurah and Denise White.
He is survived by: his children, Clinton Rollins (Pam), Connie Thompson, Ray Johnson, Otis Smith, Angie Smith-Harris (Rick), Robert White (Karen), Tony White, Roland White, Shelea Birks and Jay Swartz (Reva); his stepsons, Greg White (Sharon) and AlFonzo White (Gail); and his son-in-law Franklin Bangurah. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
