With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Otta Sue Sims of Johnson City, Tennessee, born in Portageville, Missouri, who passed away on December 21, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Savage and Etta Baynes Savage; her husband Charles Richard Sims Sr.; her son Charles Richard Sims Jr.; her son-in-law Mark White Sr.; and her siblings, Jesse Savage, Samuel Savage, Ethel Quillen, Hazel Moody, Lillian Sims, Ann Haymaker and Harvey Savage.
She is survived by: her children, Glenda Ball (Kenneth) of Johnson City, Teresa White of Johnson City, Terry Wayne Sims of Mt. Juliet and Mark Sims (Pam) of Joplin, MO. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
