She was predeceased by: her father Joe Rash; her grandmother Bessie Stout; and her aunt Margaret "Sissie" Potter. She is survived by: her mother Ella Mae Rash; her husband Charlie Birchfield; her sons, Ryan Birchfield (Whitney) and Seth Birchfield (Erin); her grandchildren, Emmy, Cooper and Oakley Birchfield; her brother Mike Rash (Phyllis); and her close friends, Kay Napier and Diane Barnett. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grace Freewill Baptist Church (2110 Knob Creek Rd, Johnson City, TN 37604). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Monte Vista Memorial Park (1900 E Oakland Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Grace Freewill Baptist Church.
