She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Harkelroad and Pearl Snodgrass Harkelroad; her husband Joseph W. "Joe" Chase; and her brother Larry Harkelroad. She is survived by : her children, Jeff Black (Linda), Scott Black of Garden City, SC, Tony Chase (Angie) of Jonesborough and Connie Chase of Jonesborough; her grandchildren, Amanda Chandler (Nathan), Bryan Black (Sandy), Adam Black, Jason Chase, Tony Chase, Jr. Mandy Chase (Bailey) and Jennifer Wolfe (Andrew); and her siblings, J. L. Harkelroad and Marylee Hill. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
A reception was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home (418 W College St, Jonesborough, TN 37659).
