She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Whiteside and Joseph Whiteside; and her husband Jerome Manuel. She is survived by: her son Marcus G. Prather; her stepdaughter Tina Shell; and her cousins, Ron Manuel of Upper Marlboro, MD, Janette Manuel of Greeneville, TN, Frances Logan of Forest City, NC, Patricia Allen and Tony Allen of Rutherfordton, NC.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; one step-grandchild.
