Phyllis I. Meece Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis I. Meece of Johnson City, Tennessee, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on June 3, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Hubbard and Mary Peters Hubbard; her husband Jack Meece; her daughter Pam Johnson; and her granddaughters, Amanda Wortman and Tiffany Jones.

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Wortman (Dave) of Johnson City and Terry Meece (Monica) of Chattanooga; and her grandchildren, Jack Meece, Tyler Meece, Minde Hurst, Nathan Johnson, Amy Strurer and Lindsey Higgins. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
