She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Honeycutt and Betty Honeycutt; her husband Blaine Edwin "Eddie" Taylor; her sister Jackie Hyder; and her nephew Steven Scott.
She is survived by: her children, Edwin David Lucas Taylor (Carrie) of Johnson City and Michelle Melton (Rusty) of Johnson City; her grandchildren, Danielle Melton of Elizabethton, Nick Shell of Johnson City, Emma Hawkins of Johnson City, Blaine Taylor of Elizabethton, Kennedie Bach of Johnson City, Logan Bach of Johnson City, Grayson Taylor of Elizabethton and Catherine Taylor of Johnson City; her siblings, Sharon Scott (Lynn) of Elizabethton, D. B. of Elizabethton and Bobbie Honeycutt of Elizabethton; and her siblings' children, Tyler Hyder (Vickie) of Elizabethton and Whitney Boylan (John) of Raleigh, NC..
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Tetrick Funeral Home (211 N Riverside Dr, Elizabethton, TN 37643).
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place • Memphis, TN 38105 in honor of Phyllis.
