He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Edward Pierce and JoAnn Edwards Pierce; and his brother Michael Edward Pierce. He is survived by: his siblings, Debbie Pierce Hamm (Terry) of Johnson City, Ronnie Pierce of Elizabethton and Teresa Pierce Cole (George) of Elizabethton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
