He was predeceased by: his parents, Hattie Salters and Nicholas Green; his siblings, Robert "Sunny" Salters, James "Billy" Salters, Walter Salters, Louis Salters, Earl T. Salters and Shirley Salters; and his granddaughter Pryncess Hunter.

He is survived by: his daughter Shelly Hunter; his grandchildren, Chavez and Shaneah; his great grandchildren, Jaevion, Legendary, Kind, Zakari and Azariah; his great-niece Tonya Salters; and his close friend Rosie Love.
