We announce the death of Ricky Longworth of Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 71. Ricky will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Longworth and Ruth Longworth; and his brother Victor Longworth. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Longworth; his daughters, Kelley Longworth and Victoria Miller; his grandchildren, Asa Miller of Johnson City and Elizabeth Miller of Johnson City; his daughter Sarah Crumley (Matt); his grandchildren, Ezrie Crumley, Silas Crumley of Knoxville and Elijah Crumley of Knoxville; and his siblings, Leroy Longworth of Minnesota, John Longworth (Dotsie) of Indiana, Mike (Debbie) of North Carolina, Larry Longworth of Indiana, Pam Mosser (Terry) of Indiana and Lora Byrum (Jim) of Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Notre Dame Catholic Church (212 Mt Bethel Rd, Greeneville, TN 37745). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
