He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Curtis and Irene Curtis; his brothers, Larry and Eddie Curtis; his son Robbie Curtis; and his grandson Robert Eric Curtis.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, Michael (Lorie) and Scott (Barbara); his stepdaughters, Deborah and Dionne Lively (Tobe); his daughter-in-law Teresa; his grandchildren, Jamie (Heather), Chelsea (Daniel), Devin, Janay (Nick), Madison, McKenzie and Gavin; and his siblings, Allen (Norma), Roger Curtis (Patsy) and Lois Whitehead (Charlie). He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
