He was predeceased by: his parents, Walworth Peebles and Elizabeth Peebles; and his siblings, Walworth Peebles, Jr. (Evelyn), Bill Peebles and Mary Anne Reid.
He is survived by: his wife Athena; his sister-in-law Anne Peebles; and his children, Kendyl B. Peebles (Debra), T. Shawn Peebles (Anna) and Andrew S. Peebles (Christie). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
