She was predeceased by: her parents, Toy Lee and Estella Hodges Saylor; her husband Patrick Hirahm Tapp; her son Jerry Dale Tapp; and her siblings, Clarence Saylor, Ellen Onks, Toy Lee Saylor, Jr. and E. D. Saylor.
She is survived by: her children, Beryl Lynn Tapp and Patricia Estella Starbird; her daughter-in-law Debbie Tapp; her brother Wayne Saylor (Geneva) of Hickory, NC; her grandchildren, Jessica Gagne (Jake) and Kelley Broyles (Shannon); her great grandchildren, Jade Gagne and Shane Mann; and her nephew Gary Manouelien (Christy).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Home & Cremation Services (800 E Watauga Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 9:50 AM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Roselawn Memory Gardens (3033 S Roan St, Johnson City, TN 37601).
