He was predeceased by: his son Rusty Lee Rumley. He is survived by: his siblings, Howard Rumley, Pearl Massengill and Penny Rumley; his friend George Hutchinson; his wife Joyce Rumley; his children, Annette (Fred Gibson), Russel Wayne Rumley and Dusty (Danny Blackburn); and his grandchildren, Maecie (Connor Linville), Zach Woodard, Emily Woodard, Madison Blackburn, Cooper Woodard, Tess Woodard, Nickolas Vanover, Lucas Linville, Abigail Blackburn and Kinsley Linville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Rusty's name to Jeremiah School in Johnson City, TN—an organization close to his heart.
