With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sally Kassimatis Hughes in Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on October 4, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sally Kassimatis Hughes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd; and her brother Emmanuel. She is survived by: her brother James Kassimatis; her children, Susan Hughes (Mark LeMay), Tom Hughes (Wendy), Jim Hughes and David Hughes; and her grandchildren, Allison Johnsen (Kenny), Jason Hughes (Marissa), Jordan Babelay, Mary Allen (Kyle), Brandon Hughes and Lauren Barrett (Jessy).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Morris-Baker Funeral Home (2001 E Oakland Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (53 Memorial Ave, Mountain Home, TN 37684).
