He was predeceased by: his father Ronald B. Murphy; and his pet Butter. He is survived by: his mother Pilar Zippora Garcia; his siblings, Yachannah Murphy Galloway (Shon), Yirayah Garcia, Ta'Avdiyah Garcia, Ne'Ermanyah "Mony" Garcia-Dickson (Chris) and Ayisha Bradley; his pet Snoop; his nieces and nephews, Akeyla, Emanyae, Rahleik, Tyrese, Aliyanna, Yabre, Markeis, Trevor, Zoe, Zyair, Avye and Amiyah; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kassian, Asaud, Azariya and Elias; his aunts, Sandra Jackson (Douglas), Regina Murphy and Angela Murphy-Miller (Keith); his uncle James Murphy (Libby); and his godfather Lynn White (Karen). He is also survived by cousins who were like siblings.
