She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence Burleson, Sr.; her grandson Nathan Eric Burleson; her parents, Homer Baxter Gouge and Dovie Gertrude Street Gouge; and her siblings, Norma Jean Blalock, Geraldine Cansler (Babe), Edna Pearl Massey, Shirley Dean Swink and Donald Gouge.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Lee (Marlene) and Clarence, Jr.; her parents-in-law, Oscar and Bertha Burleson; her grandson Nicholas (Wendy Burleson); her great grandchildren, Genevieve and Gabrielle Burleson; her son Chuck (Terri); and her sisters, Mildred Wood (Paul) and Sonya Rice (Gary). She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
