He was predeceased by: his parents, George Brady and Carolyn Brady; his siblings, Michael Bristol and Justine White; his son Byron Bristol; and his granddaughter Olivia Bristol.

He is survived by: his children, Chad Bristol (Wendy), Stephanie Bristol and Ebony Phillips; his grandchildren, Kyron, Eli, Daliah, Bailey, Izmerelda, Leo, Aiden and Payton; his great grandchildren, Gavyn, Kalianna and Ja'Kobe; his siblings, George Bristol (Patricia), Frieda Talley (Robert), Patricia Bristol and Aunya Latham; and his close friend Sharon Johnson. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
