He was predeceased by: his parents, William Spain and Lottie McIntyre Spain; his sister Karen Spain Pratt; and his pet Chip. He is survived by: his close friend Belinda Baffa; his children, Josh Spain (Kelli), Jarrod Spain (Libby) of Jonesborough, TN and Jordan Spain of Johnson City, TN.; his grandchildren, Ella, Lizzie, Sadler, Shaw Spain, Cooper and Adleigh Williams; and his siblings, Melinda Parker (Woody) of Nashville, TN, Larry Spain (Brenda) of Cookeville, TN, Debbie Pealer (Bill) of Bristol, TN and Gail Spain of Salisbury, NC. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to East Tennessee Kidney Foundation.
