We bid farewell to Thelma Summers of Johnson City, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 12, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher Pruitt and Beulah Cope Pruitt; her husband Rev. Howard Summers; her siblings, Sam, Jimmy, Jerry, Roy Wayne, Christine, Pauline and Lorene; and her grandson Josh Stockstill.
She is survived by: her brothers, Earl, Bobby and Johnny Pruitt. She is also survived by her 20 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Her contributions to her community and church were immeasurable, and her impact will be felt for generations to come.
