He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Fields and Mary Freeman; his stepfather Troy Freeman; his sisters, Teresa Ray, Shelia Delaney and Betty Riddick; and his nephew Brian Riddick.

He is survived by: his brother James; his daughter Angel Fields; and his grandchild Menissa Fields. He is also survived by her daughter.
