He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Thomas Ward and Lula Armstrong Ward; his siblings, Juanita and Herman Ward; his parents-in-law, Eugene and Grace Taylor; his son-in-law Payton Pruett; his siblings-in-law, Nancy Ward, Barbara Taylor and Larry Taylor; and his nephew Jonathan Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Taylor Ward; his daughter Angela Ward Pruett; his brother Davis F. Ward; his sister-in-law Joan Taylor; his niece Lynda Ward (Steve); his nephews, Thomas Ward (Tanya), Aaron Hartsock and Scott Taylor (Lisa); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mary Beth Ward, Matthew Ward, Melany Brey, Shyann Taylor and Zoe Hartsock; and his friend Lowell Charles. He is also survived by several cousins, and a host of dear friends.
