With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet Lee Jackson in Johnson City, Tennessee, born in Jonesborough, Tennessee, who passed away on February 27, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph M. Walker, Jr. and Mary Emmaline Adams Walker; her husband Robert N. Jackson; her daughters, Bobbie Sue Atkins and Seena Barley; her son-in-law Charles Atkins; her grandchildren, Debbie Atkins Sanders and Aaron Broyles; and her siblings, Ethel Livingston, Leona Cupp, Dorothy Jones and Kenneth Ray Walker.

She is survived by: her children, Steve Jackson (Debbie) and Kathe Broyles (Aldon); and her grandchildren, Nathan Atkins (Danni), Bobbie Sanders (Dennis), Sonya O'Brien (Danny Birchfield), Carol Harris (Sammy), Christiana Brown (Chris) and Marsha Broyles. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
