Virginia E. Goines Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia E. Goines of Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on October 31, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lauretta Sanders and Will Sanders; her husband Claude F. Goines; her children, Priscilla Goines, Phyllis Goines Hall, Robert Goines and Bill Goines; her grandson Michael Whittington; and her siblings, William P. J. Sanders, James Copney, Ethel Mae Adams, Ruth Dixon and Hattie Hale.
She is survived by: her sons, Claude "Honey" Goines and Martin "Doug" Goines; and her granddaughters, Nancy Howard (Norman), Loretta "Tiny" Goines, Georgia Gillespie (Eugene), Claudia Goines, Carrie Whittington (late Michael) and Pamela Bolden (late Ronald). She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; thirty-five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
