He was predeceased by: his father Walter Gouge; his wife Barbara Bowen Gouge; and his brother Harold Gouge. He is survived by: his children, Kim Morgan (Rick) of Johnson City, Shelli Lattimer (James) of Gatlinburg and Tim Gouge of Johnson City; his stepdaughter Carol of Georgia; his grandchildren, Brandi Morgan (Kevin), Cayse Kearns, Ricky Morgan, Robby Gonzalez (Amanda), Taylor Kirkland (Chris), Zac Gonzalez (Savannah), Johnathan Gonzalez (Whitney), Maci Gouge, Bailey Gouge and Tobi Gouge; and his brother Kenny Gouge (Nina) of Elizabethton. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
