He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Adams; and his grandparents, William, Katherine Adams, Artemis and Rosa Foster.

He is survived by: his children, Rashad, Keyshaun and Gavin; his grandchildren, Jackson and Jordan Adams; his siblings, Norma Faye Heatherly, Aundrea Adams and Aimee Adams; his nephew Skylar Adams; his brother John Birchette; his aunts and uncles, Jeanie Lee, Thelma Williams, Barbara Adams, Paul Adams, Charles Adams, Wayne Foster and Ruben Lewis Adams; Sharon Adams. He is also survived by extended family members, friends.
