He is survived by: his children, Toria Hale of Johnson City, Kelly Hale of Johnson City, Mark Hale of Seattle and Eric Tarter (Livinia Beserra) of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.; his siblings, James Whittington, Stephanie Butler and Brenda Watson; his sister-in-law Mary Rollins; and his close friends, Jerry Brown and Wilma Dabney.
