He was predeceased by: his parents, Daisy Murray and Joe Murray; his siblings, Juanita Murray, Eualia Broyles (Darryl), Willa Dean Bryant (Dennis), Shelby Fox, J. D. Murray, Vestal Murray, Leland Murray and Herbert Murray (Ann); and his siblings-in-law, Lois Hensley (Uyless) and J. D. Randolph.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Frances Murray; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Ward, Ruby Jennings (J. C.), Nadine Barnett (David) and Vickie Randolph. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and their spouses.
Memorials may be made to Kingsley Avenue Free Will Baptist Church or Cedar Grove Cemetary.
