It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Thaddeus Muse of Johnson City, Tennessee, born in Elizabethton, Tennessee, who passed away on May 13, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mayland "Ducky" Muse and Valarie Muse Ferguson; his wife Erma Morefield Muse; and his half-brothers, Johnny and Mickey Muse.
He is survived by: his stepparents, Thelma "Suze" Muse and Guy Ferguson; his children, William "Bill" Muse, Jr. (Mary Ann) and Sherrye Muse Orr; his granddaughter Jennifer Orr McGuffey (Jeff); his great grandchild Hunter McGuffey; his sister-in-law Barbara Minor; his half-sister Sally Muse Kohn (Betty Muse); his nephew Lance Elliott; his nieces, Whitney Bolton and Beth Elliott Tarr; his great-nephews, Riley Bolton and Christopher Tarr; and his nieces and nephews, Randy Oakes, Kelly Muse Reed, Melonee McKinney Hurt, Mike Muse, Bobby Muse and Matt McKinney. He is also survived by his family, but also by many friends.
