He was predeceased by: his parents, James Paul "Buster" and Liola "Ode" Adams Campbell; his siblings, Jimmy Vandyke, Roy "Weebie" Campbell, Paul "Dooley" Campbell, Norma Wilson and Mary Feathers; and his siblings-in-law, Jeannie Chambers, Jack Lowe and Lester Wilson.
He is survived by: his wife Eva Cobble Campbell; his daughter Lacy Horne (Josh Horne); his grandchildren, Madelyn Grace Horne, Joshua Horne and Jacob Horne; his sister Barbara Lowe (Bobbie); his sister-in-law Donna Cook; and his niece Jackie Lowe Jacobs.
The family request, in lieu of flowers, that everyone honor Charlie's memory by putting aside all prejudices and be kind and respectful to each other for one day. Those who wish can donate to their favorite church, charity, veterans' organization, or animal shelter in Charlie's memory.
