He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Honeycutt and Ruth Norris Honeycutt. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Honeycutt; his children, Joshua Honeycutt, Debbie Williams of Johnson City and Angie Honeycutt of Johnson City; his grandchildren, Danica Williams of Jonesborough, Jacob DeVotie of Jonesborough and Elijah Douglas of Jonesborough; and his siblings, Christine Laws, Dale Honeycutt of Johnson City, Mark Honeycutt of Johnson City and Daryl Honeycutt. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home (418 W College St, Jonesborough, TN 37659). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
