He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Carder and Houston Carder; his grandparents, Willis, Hazel Johnson, Samuel and Flora Carder; and his brothers, Benjamin, Mack and Sam Carder.
He is survived by: his sisters, Elizabeth Carder Ramsey and Carolyn Carder Maden (Earl); and his sister-in-law Bobbie Orr Carder. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
