He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Murr and Sylvia Bowman Murr; his daughter Joey K. Murr; his siblings, Lorrie Williams, Rick Murr and Andy Murr; and his close friend Chic Mahan.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Murr; his sons, Marty Murr (Tabitha) and Travis; his grandchildren, Alex Murr, Caleb Murr, Morgan Cole (Josh) and Jordan Varner (Charles); his brother Jeff Murr (Starr); and his sibling's children, Allen, Brooke Williams, Missy and Blair Todd. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Abounding Grace Baptist Church (1025 Depot St, Jonesborough, TN 37659). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM and at 12:00 PM.
