He is survived by: his children, Donald Perkins, Jr., Marcie Perkins Booker, Shawn Perkins and Jamie Perkins; and his sisters, Phyllis Perkins and Burma Birchfield. He is also survived by many grandchildren, step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren.
