It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Dawson Porter Harmon (Jonesborough, Tennessee), born in Bluefield, West Virginia, who passed away on March 28, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Dawson and Grace Meade Dawson; her sibling Upon; her husband O. T. Harmon, Jr.; her adoptive parents, Rev. Robert Frank (Christine Porter) and Christine Porter; her siblings, Trula King, Talma Hogan, Mary Ann Broyles, Emma Lou Myers and George Littleton Dawson, Jr.; her granddaughter Talithia Shontel; her daughter Christine; her son-in-law Rev. Paul Rebelo; her son Robert; her daughter-in-law Kim Harmon of Jonesborough; her grandchildren, Hali Allen (Cole), Allison Foster (Chase), Rev. Lawrence Rebelo (Christina), Emily Rebelo, Montgomery Rebelo and Rachel Rebelo; her great grandchildren, Savannah, Shiloh and Seelie; her siblings, Peggy Seay of Greeneville, Shirley Woods of Las Vegas, Carolyn Gass (Dave) of Knoxville, Chris Porter (Sherry) of Pigeon Forge, Michael McClarity and Chad Hatcher of Virginia; and her close friend Nicholas Elliot.
