With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean Archer Campbell (Jonesborough, Tennessee), born in Akron, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dana Archer of Pleasant Valley and Verna Hall Archer of Stoney Creek; her husband Carroll Campbell; her daughter Leah Lynn Campbell; and her siblings, Ruth Archer Osborne and Don Archer.
She is survived by: her children, David A. Campbell (Peggy) and Judith C. Plumb (Ron); her grandchildren, Sarah Plumb and Bryan Plumb (Joanna); her great grandchild Leilani Jade Plumb; her nephews, Jeff Osborne, Carl Osborne (Sandy), Richard and Matthew Archer; her great-nephew Jake Osborne; her nieces, Angela Wright (late Bill) and Amy King (late Daryl); Drake Osborne.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 PM at the Fairview Methodist Church (878 TN-81, Jonesborough, TN 37659). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fairview Methodist Church.
