She was predeceased by: her parents, Roe Hughes and Bertha Hughes; her husband Arthur "Doc" Garland; her children, Brian Garland and Loretta Holtzhower; her grandson Justin Gardner; her siblings, Junior Hughes, Elmer Hughes, Kimsey Hughes, Buck Hughes, Thelma Wilson and Madeline Foster; and her close friend Gracie King.
She is survived by: her daughter Sharon Gardner (Kenny); her grandchildren, Shannon Wilson (Jackie), Michael Holtzhower (Ashley), Jessie Musselman (Kody) and David Garland (Jessica); her stepgrandchildren, Dawn Lewis (Chris) and Eric Holtzhower (Katie); her great grandchildren, Hank, Will, Leon and Jaxson M.; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jaxson L. and Abby; her sister Betty Renfro; and her close friend Sue Hobbs. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
