He is survived by: his wife Katherine Dodson; his children, Patricia Ann Briggs (Randy), Larry Franklin Dodson, Jr., Michael Shane Dodson, Sue Vest (Ken) and Sean Gregory Dodson (Wendy); his grandchildren, Courtney Briggs, Blake Briggs, Dustin Dodson, Samantha Tallman, Aidenn Dodson and Brandon Dodson; his great grandchild Bella Kate Briggs; his brothers, David McCoy (Doreen) and Ron McCoy (Frutosa "Tinky"); and his close friends, Jeff Chandley and Rick Mitchell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
