He was predeceased by: his son Robert Wayne; and his parents, Ralph Keplinger and Velma Keplinger. He is survived by: his wife Mae; his daughters, Deborah Barnett (Jay) and Melony Broyles (Shane); his grandchildren, Jaylyn Barnett (Jonathan), Jerron, Jaxton Barnett and John Will Honeycutt; his great grandchild Briar Dean Goodman; and his brother Jerry Lee Keplinger.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home (418 W College St, Jonesborough, TN 37659). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Bethesda Methodist Church building fund.
