She was predeceased by: her husband Everette Waites; her grandsons, Kurt Waites and Colt Reaves; her parents, Burnie Hopson and Lena Hopson; and her siblings, Hugh (Betty Hopson), Gordon (Edith Hopson), Dennis (Joyce Hopson), Raven (Retha Hopson) and Duard (Barbara Hopson).
She is survived by: her children, Vaughn Reaves of Johnson City, Sammy Reaves of Greeneville, Sheila Carter (Terry) of Greeneville and Priscilla Dicus of Greeneville; her grandchildren, Cheyenne Thompson (Rocky), Jarrod Carter, Adam King (Alexis) and Isaac Bouthillette; her granddaughter-in-law Lora Reaves; and her sisters-in-law, Gene (Betty Hopson) and Pauline Hopson. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; brother.
