She was predeceased by : her parents, Warner Shell and Mary Katherine Heaton Shell; her husband Lester G. Reed; and her granddaughters, Carol Mitchell Robinson and Libby Faith Hazelwood Taylor.
She is survived by : her children, Alan Reed (Patricia) of Kingsport, Tennessee, Janie Sexton, Susan Honeycutt (Dennis) of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Mary Ellen Reed (Sandy Kenin) of Carrollton, Georgia and David W. Reed (Anne Laurie) of Columbia. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
