He is survived by: his mother Bonda Johnson Hensley; his wife Kimberly McCormick Hensley of Morganton, NC; his son Bobby Hensley (Arty); his stepson Alan Moody Morganton (Brandy); his grandchildren, Keenan Edwards, James Moody and Keira Moody; and his siblings, Dale Hensley, Jackie Hensley (Penny), Tim Hensley (Darlene), Judy Royston, Susan Kyker (Danny) and Velma Briggs (Gary). He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
