We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2025, at the age of 71, Sharon B. Mitchell (Jonesborough, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Joseph Barry, Sr. and Irene Hyatt Barry; her son Fred Higgins, Jr.; and her brother Frank Barry. She is survived by: her husband Charlie Mitchell, Jr.; her daughter Kelly Stevens (Mike); her siblings, Caren Ellis (Clark), Mary Sparks, Sandy Tester (Bobby), John Barry, Danny Barry and Mike Barry; her father-in-law Charlie Mitchell, Sr.; and her sister-in-law Virginia Landers. She is also survived by three grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home (418 W College St, Jonesborough, TN 37659).
