Though Shirley may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her mother Dora Sliger; her husband Tommie Lewis Crowder; and her son Michael Crowder. She is survived by: her son Tommy Crowder (Laura); her granddaughter Sydney Crowder (Tor) of Carbondale, IL; and her sister Betty Jo Correll (Gray). She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home (418 W College St, Jonesborough, TN 37659). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Lawn Cemetery.
